Volunteers needed to teach in schools in China. Some teaching experience is required and volunteers must have a primary degree or a recognised TEFL qualification.
Placements are for a minimum of 6 months, but preferably one academic year. Volunteers will have opportunities to travel during the school holidays or on long weekends.
Volunteers will receive a return air ticket, medical insurance and an orientation in Ireland (1 day) and Hong Kong (4 days). Ongoing support for volunteers will be given during the term of service in China. Free accommodation and a monthly allowance are provided by the Chinese Institute.
