The Community Exchange website has a section that is dedicated to volunteer positions, which is frequently updated. Other sections include information on upcoming courses, workshops, new publications, and campaigns.
Volunteer Centres Ireland is the national body with responsibility for developing volunteering in Ireland. VCI promotes volunteering both nationally and locally, supports the development of local Volunteer Centres, promotes and develops best practice in volunteering and influences government policy on volunteering in Ireland.
VCI is a membership organisation with 12 member Volunteer Centres located throughout the country and several more in the setup process. Volunteer Centres provide a matching service between individuals interested in volunteering and local community and voluntary organisations in need of volunteers.
