Comhlamh Coming Home Weekend: 24 - 26 April (Friday Evening – Sunday afternoon inclusive), Dublin.

The Coming Home Weekend provides an enjoyable opportunity to share your experiences, meet other returned development workers, learn, socialise, network and exchange stories and advice.  The intention of the Coming Home weekend is to ensure that you are aware of all the services available to you as a returned development worker or volunteer, to provide opportunities to meet others who’ve had similar experiences and to link you in to groups, organisations and activities that might be of interest to you.

Most importantly, the weekend provides an opportunity to reflect on the experience of working overseas so that you can integrate it effectively as you look forward to the years ahead.  Participation is free to those who have been overseas in a development capacity (short or long term) for longer than three months. The weekends are run by other returned development workers and Comhlámh staff.  For further information or to book your place please contact Lily Murphy at Lily@comhlamh.org, or by telephone at 01- 478 3490.  You can find more information here.
