EIL Intercultural Learning invites applications for its 2009 Global Awareness Programme scholarship.
The Global Awareness Programme is an exciting training, volunteering and awareness raising project focussing on HIV/AIDS.
Four people will be chosen to participate on the programme.
The participants will:
- Attend training on HIV/AIDS issues in Ireland
- Attend a training on Media Skills
- Volunteer for 8 weeks in a HIV&AIDS organisation in South Africa or Nigeria
- Plan and implement an awareness raising campaign around HIV/AIDS on their return to Ireland.
