Have you returned from development work/volunteering overseas?

Comhlámh has a great idea for a wonderful weekend break for you!

Come spend the weekend sharing experiences with other returned development workers & volunteers...

  • Benefit from great networking opportunities
  • Think about how to apply the vast skills you have developed overseas and consider your "new lens" for looking at the world
  • Look at the readjustment process and culture shock of being home and discover ways to remain engaged in development issues from Ireland.
  • And of course, meet fellow returnees and have a bit of fun!


When:     Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th May 2012 

Where:    Dublin – (All Hallows College, Drumcondra)

Cost:        Just €50 euro! Accommodation and all meals included (No charge for VSO or RRC participants (VSO & IA covers these charges)

Who:        For anyone who has worked or volunteered overseas for 3 month’s or more in a development/humanitarian aid or human rights capacity.

The weekend is facilitated by Comhlámh staff who are returned development workers;

Participatory group format (individual, small and large group sessions);

Social gathering on Sat night optional.
