This 1 day workshop run by Comhlámh is open to anyone considering volunteering overseas for global development (both short-term and long-term) who wants to consider their options in a participatory manner. Some of the issues which we will examine include: What is development?, the role of the volunteer/development worker, motivations and expectations, types of agencies and projects, and volunteering for global development from Ireland.
