Irish Aid is currently recruiting part time junior consultants who will act as guides in the Irish Aid Volunteering and Information Centre in Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin. The guides will provide a positive introduction to the Centre, interact with visitors and provide on the spot assistance as required. In particular, the guides will work to ensure that individuals interested in volunteering understand how to make best use of the volunteering facilities in the Centre. They will also assist and lead school group visits to the Centre in accordance with the schools programme, and assist with the general administration and running of events. Further details are available in the terms of reference below.
To apply for a position please send a curriculum vitae and letter of application, indicating your interest and availability by email to Orla O'Flanagan at orla.oflanagan@dfa.ie by no later than 17.00hrs (5 pm) on Wednesday 29th. October 2008.
Please note that under no circumstances will applications and C.V.'s submitted after 17.00 hours on Wednesday 29th October 2008 be admitted to the evaluation process.

Please be advised that the Department of Foreign Affairs will not meet any costs incurred by you in preparing your proposal or in any other pre-contract costs. Interviews will be held in the Centre in early November.
