The Global Awareness Programme is an exciting training, volunteering and awareness raising project focussing on HIV/AIDS.
Four people will be chosen to participate on the programme.
The participants will:
· Attend training on HIV/AIDS issues in Ireland
. Attend a training on Media Skills
· Volunteer for 8 weeks in a HIV&AIDS organisation in South Africa or Nigeria
· Plan and implement an awareness raising campaign around HIV&AIDS on their return to Ireland
Bursaries are available to help with the costs.
