The Coordinator role offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable leadership and management experience in a challenging overseas environment, working alongside dynamic and inspirational local partner organisations. Lámha Suas is a new Irish based organisation dedicated to supporting education in the Mubende district of Uganda. They work closely with the Ugandan Ministry of Education to provide support to a number of government schools in the Mubende district of Uganda.
Support is provided by sending qualified Irish teachers to work alongside Ugandan teachers on short-term volunteering placements; funding long-term programmes such as school feeding, improvement of school infrastructure and a teacher scholarship fund. They also support the wider community by recruiting nurses to work in the local health clinics on short-term volunteering placements and also supplying medical equipment.

Working in Romania since 1990, the Comber Foundation supports adults with intellectual and physical disabilities to leave institutional care and move into new homes in the community.
