Irish Aid is hosting an Overseas Volunteering Fair in the Irish Aid Volunteering and Information Centre, 27-31 Upper O'Connell St., Dublin 1 on Saturday 1st October.
The Volunteering Fair will run from 11am to 4pm including information stands with over 25 long and short-term volunteering organisations participating. There will be presentations from participating organisations every half hour starting at 11am!
Comhlámh will also be there providing information on training and support services available to overseas volunteers before they depart and upon there return!

Friday 19 August is World Humanitarian Day!
Concern Worldwide will be hosting a free event in Dublin to give people a chance to meet Concern's aid workers and members of their emergency response team.
The event will take place between 11am and 6pm at The Culture Box (formerly the Temple Bar Information Centre), 12 East Essex Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2.
Concern staff will be speaking about their experiences of working in some of the world’s poorest countries.
Comhlámh staff will be there too and we're excited to provide firsthand information about a range of issues relating to volunteering and development work. Make sure to visit our stand and learn how you can get involved.

Progressio is an international development organisation working for sustainable development and the eradication of poverty in 11 countries around the world.
They are currently recruiting for an international development worker with experience in risk and disaster management to be placed in Haiti.
