Hosted by Concern Worldwide, this open day will focus on the UN’s theme for World Humanitarian Day ‘I am an aid worker’. Come along and meet some of Concern’s local Haitian aid workers who were there when the massive earthquake struck. Meet members of Concern’s Emergency Response Team who dealt with the aftermath of the quake. Hear about the effectiveness of Concern’s humanitarian work in the country since 1994 and since the January 2010 catastrophe itself, and see insightful audio visual and photographic evidence. Get advice first-hand from aid workers about their experiences across a range of countries.
