The Impact of the Global Economic Crises on Development

Two  12-month project manager volunteer placements in South Africa (Housing Project) and Madagascar (Water Management Project).

Take part in our workshop, a practical training which will prepare you take an active part in an EU wide campaign to get constituents talking to their MEP candidates.

The Coming Home Weekend provides an enjoyable opportunity for returned volunteers and development workers to share their experiences, meet other returned development workers, learn, socialise, network and exchange stories and advice.

Duration: 3.5 days
Course Aim and Objectives: The aim of the course is to assist development personnel prepare for their role abroad in a significantly different cultural setting.  The course gives participants the space to reflect on their personal preparation as well as increasing their understanding of development issues and developing their communication skills.
